Consulting
One of our points of focus is educating our clients and making sure the recruiting process is understood from the first email, phone call or evaluation up until your student athletes step on a college or university campus. Consulting consists of evaluating the situation and coming up with the best course of action to reach the next level in the athletes academic and athletic career.

Mentoring
There is a great responsibility to maximize the potential of every student athlete in the classroom and during competition. With our seminars we hope to foster the development for success. Seminars include panel discussions from former student athletes who are now professional athletes or have gone pro in something other than sports as well as guest speakers and workshops. We also offer a hands on experience, there will be opportunities for college visits to show athletes what to expect.
Please check back for upcoming events.

Meet the Founder

LaVera Morris
Founder, CEO
LaVera Morris is the founder of Professional Student Athletes Consulting and Mentoring, who has over two decades of experience in high school and college athletics as a student athlete, coach, mentor, and administrator. She began the company because of her purpose to educate and mentor others. There is a need to educate high school athletes and coaches and her passion is to meet that need.
As a former student athlete who went through the recruiting process with her high school coach, who is also her father, Morris understands the challenges a student athlete, coach and parent may face. A graduate of Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, FL she has earned the following accolades: Gatorade Athlete of the Year, Golden South Classic Hall of Fame Inductee, Oak Ridge High School Hall of Fame Inductee and most recently she was inducted into the Florida Track and Field Hall of Fame in January 2019. Morris is a 2008 University of Kentucky graduate with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. While competing for the Wildcats, she was a two-time All-American in the 800m. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master of Business Administration and Master of Sports Management. In 2019, she concluded her career in college athletics as the Director of Operations for the University of Georgia to start PSACM. Morris also had stints at the University of Kentucky, University of Texas at Austin, and University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to college athletics, Morris was also a high school coach in Kentucky and Florida.
“I not only found what my purpose is but I also have a passion to educate student athletes and coaches so that they make the decision that is best for them.”
